From this meeting I learned how to cite articles into the research that we have made. In addition, I learned that this tutorial is more formal than the previous one. The benefit I got this time is that the formal form of the tutorial means the same font, same shapes, and even the same size. Further explanation is below.
At this meeting, Mr. Limbong entered our class by starting to discuss examples of citation such as: (Limbong, 2024; Iwan, 2023; Bibit, 2022). Citation like that means claim, so that our argument is strong, and means that the article has been read. If the research is done with Ms. Dyah, then the maximum period of articles is the last 5 years, but if doing research with Mr. Limbong, we can use the last 8 years of articles.
The third assignment in the form of writing tutorials for both part 1 and part 2 will be collected next week. Mr. Limbong said that after this we will discuss Google Sites as a final grade that replaces the exam with a weight of 40%. It is estimated that the last Google Sites assignment will be collected on May 27, 2024.
Then, Mr. Limbong asked the students to raise their hands as to which group got the Google Sites tutorial assignment. The group, in part two of the assignment, must choose the best Google Sites made by their group members, then make a tutorial from start to finish, such as how to create header, how to add pictures, etc. While the other groups can make Multimedia Learning from start to finish, by choosing which is the best creation process among the members in the team.
Mr. Limbong said that this tutorial is made in a formal version. Where the margins used are 4-4-3-3 with a distance of 1.5 and the font is Times New Roman size 12. For the title, it is allowed to use size 14. The fonts used in the tutorial do not need to be colored, just black, but the color of the arrow type can be chosen in contrast from the previous background.
Within 3 days, Mr. Limbong asked one person to display their work for comments and feedback.
Three days later - Sunday, May 12th, 2024 (04.30 PM - 17.00 PM)
The arrow should not be too big. There is no need to say "Click here", but you can have it, at least make it smaller.
Give the signaling in the text. For example, you have to assume that people don't know about Canva, so you need to add a tutorial to create an account in Canva. It has to be complete sign in, sign up. Start from zero.
Signal in writing (for example for number 1), you can make it bold or italic, which is the dominant step or point there.
If you don't need the part of the picture on the right that doesn't affect anything, just crop it. If you really need all the parts of the picture, don't cut it away.
If you mention websites, tell the address like www. and how to search.
"Click on..." words can be bold.
Inside the picture, give numbers, bullets or boxes, then consecutive numbers according to the writing tutorial, so they are interrelated.
Describe in detail.
1 2 3 4 are steps, if there are many steps in one sentence, just divide it.
Pay attention to good English.
Use a very contrasting color when making an arrow to the picture, consistent in shape, because it's formal. Use the same color and adjust it. Maybe sometimes you need to change the color, it's okay, but make it contrast from the background.
Before the tutorials, there should be an introduction. What is the topic title, name, what can be taught? What is the book? What is material that you use?
There must be signaling in text like bold or italic.
Instruction between one number to another must have a space. Give enter once.
Arrow is consistent with the picture. Take just one color. What's really important to be consistent is the shape, don't be different.
Before submit it, check one by one so there's nothing wrong or missing.
On top, give A, B, C, per tutorial title, to differentiate.
If there is empty space on the right, you can add text to make it clearer. Explain what is inside the box. You can add optional explanations too. (To add other details).
Instruction should not be too long. Enter is divided into 5a 5b 5c, etc. Don't make it descriptive. Instead of narration, just make a step, multiply ABCD. Break down in more detail and clarity.
Multimedia learning must be clear first, what book, what material, what grade, what publisher, give a few paragraphs, and who is the person that teach the material.
