Victorian Masters
A Brief History
Where did the “Vic Masters” begin
Following the success of the Australian Masters games held at Altona in 1996 and the large number of Victorian Teams that entered, the Board of the then Victorian Softball Association, put forward the idea of holding a Victorian Masters Championship. Out of this suggestion a working committee was formed and from there the Victorian Masters Softball Championship was born with the Inaugural tournament being held the June Queens Birthday weekend 1997 at Altona with 26 teams entered.
