Calling the Strikes

From 1988 til 2004 the Victorian Umpire Committee published their quarterly newsletter "Calling the Strikes". This newsletter was a great way to directly communicate with the Victorian umpires providing information on courses, rules, tips and articles. "Calling the Strikes" proved so popular that in August 1995, the publication became the newsletter of Softball Victoria.

"Calling the Strikes" was superseded by the National Umpire online publication "Blues News"
