SUSS FACILITIES BOOKING
As part of our support for our Student Groups in carrying out events, activities and programmes, these facilities are available for booking:
Block B Level 3 Seminar Rooms
Block C Seminar Rooms
Block D Sports Hall (subject to availability - please check in with staff mentor on slot availability)

SR Booking Process
Assign the person who will be in-charge of submitting the booking request via the booking form. The student will serve as the POC/main liaison between Student SUcceSS Centre (SSC) and the group.
Submit the seminar room booking request here.
Submission of booking request must be made at least 14 working days before event date.
Late minute booking request will be rejected
Allocation of rooms are subject to availability
Bookings are on a first-come-first-serve basis
Upon successful submission, Qualtrics will generate an email confirmation of your booking.
SSC will reach out if clarifications regarding your booking is required.
The POC will be notified on room allocation through email within 4 working days*.
*Due to allocation of venue being managed by SIM, appreciate in patience if it takes a while longer for us to get back to you.
Event Day Reminders
Should you require technical assistance (i.e. door locked, partition not open, IT/AV equipment not working), please contact Service Desk at 6248 9090, and keep your staff mentor in the loop.
Please return room to original set-up at the end of the event.

Are we able to request for specific setup arrangement for Sports Hall and Seminar Rooms?
Sports Hall
The facilities provider will be supporting with the set-up of courts and equipment such as nets, floorball board.
Students are to cater for own equipment (i.e. shuttlecocks, racquets, balls, etc).
Seminar Rooms
Pre-event setup will not be provided. The tables and chairs are available in each seminar rooms for your own setup, but must be reinstated to its original setup.
What can the Sports Hall be used for?
The MPSH can be used for the following approved activities:
Basketball
Badminton
Floorball
Netball
Volleyball
Mass calisthenics/physical exercises
Orientation games
Are there any booking fees?
There are no booking fees for usage of Sports Hall and Seminar Rooms for approved student group activities.
Do I need to cancel my booking if I no longer require the seminar room? How do I cancel a booking?
Yes, please inform the Office if you would like to cancel your booking so that the venue can be freed up for other student group's usage at. Please email the Office of Student Life (ost@suss.edu.sg) to inform of your cancellation at least 48 hours in advance.
What is the maximum capacity for the venues?
Blk C Seminar Room (Single): 60 pax
Blk C Seminar Room (Double/Combined): 110 pax
Blk B Seminar Room: 75 pax
Sports Hall: 418 pax
Is there a first-aid kit at the venues?
No, the venues are not equipped with any first aid kit. If your group do not have one, please rent a set from the Office of Student Life. This request must be made at least 2 working days before collection date.

Do I need to submit multiple and/or different RAMS document for each booking? Where can I find more information on how to complet the RAMS document?
For recurring training sessions or activities of similar nature, you may submit a consolidated RAMS document.
For events/programmes/activities that are different, please submit a separate RAMS document.
You may use the EMS Guide for reference when completing the RAMS document. The EMS Guide is available for download here. Exco members of the student group are also strongly encouraged to attend the Advanced RAMS and First Aid Training workshop.
What if I require other spaces/venues not listed here for the student group activities?
Please approach your staff mentor to check on the possibility of booking other venue/spaces on campus.
