We are always looking for strong candidates for Ph.D/MS/BS student researchers.
Candidates should have a demonstrated passion for robotics, ME/EE/CS (or related) academic background, outstanding analytical skills, exceptional communication skills, strong programming skills (ROS/C++/Python, etc), and strong design skills. Prior research publications will be a plus.
If you are interested, please send applications that will include:
A complete CV
Up-to-date university transcripts
Official English proficiency
A statement describing research interests and goals
A link to your personal website, or a portfolio highlighting your work or interest in robotics
It is not necessary to be in English. For those who want to know more about our research in the SurgLab, we recommend participating in the internship program, which conducts a short-term laboratory study. We also provide an opportunity to attend our weekly lab meeting where you could know more about the current issues regarding the ongoing projects.
SurGLab is currently recruiting a postdoctoral researcher for a newly funded research project.
Applicants with research backgrounds closely aligned with SurGLab's research areas are especially encouraged to apply. Relevant areas include, but are not limited to, surgical robotics, robotic manipulation, robot learning, physical AI, teleoperation, control, and robot system integration. (Please refer to the "Research" or "Project" tab.)
Interested applicants should send a CV and a brief cover email describing their research background, research interests, and how their previous experience could contribute to SurGLab’s ongoing and future research projects.
Prior publications, hands-on experience with robotic systems, and strong programming skills will be considered a plus.
