A degree in Nursing will allow you to communicate and care for patients in clinical settings. You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the patient receives correct treatment - this involves working closely with doctors, consultants, pharmacists, social services, and therapeutic services such as physiotheraphy and occupational therapy. There are opportunities for you to specialise in an area of interest throughout your degree such as pediatric or geriatric nursing, palliative care nursing, or working in areas such as community health or mental health.
