CHEMISTRY

Chemistry is the study of matter. Dealing with reality’s most basic elements, from particles to atoms to molecules, chemistry is also known as the central science. 

Chemistry studies our reality at a fundamental physical level - atoms. Atoms are composed of subatomic particles and share chemical bonds, creating the building blocks for life. 

The field of chemistry is often broken down into organic, inorganic, and physical. Organic chemistry looks at structures that contain carbon. Inorganic chemistry looks at structyres which are based primarily on elements other than carbon. Physical chemistry looks at how elements react under different conditions such as changes in pressures and temperatures.

According to UCAS, the average offer for a Chemistry course at UK universities is AAB - HOWEVER - this will differ depending on the university you apply to.
