A medicine degree is a mixture of science based learning with soft skills development and a grounding in medical ethical and legal knowledge. It is a direct route in to becoming a doctor and will look at a variety of different subject fields some of which include: anatomy, bodily systems, clinical procedure, cell biology and genetics, as well as pathology and epidemiology.

According to UCAS, the average offer for a Medicine course at UK universities is AAA - HOWEVER - this will differ depending on the university you apply to.
For a medicine degree you will also need to sit the UCAT - this is the University Clinical Aptitude Test. Each year they have different deciles that some universities use as cut off points for considering applicants.
