Summary : My graduate research at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India was focused on developing anisotropic wrinkled surface and studying the droplet evaporation dynamics. Additionally, an investigation on replicas of bio-inspired surfaces has been studied in the presence of applied potential. The thesis was carried out under the joint supervision of Prof. Rabibrata Mukherjee.
In Summer 2018, I joined the group of Dr. Knut Rurack, Chemical and Optical Sensing Division at the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM), Berlin, Germany. I worked on developing a microfluidic chip for fluorescent detection using BODIPY dyes synthesized at BAM.
I plan to extend my knowledge and practical exposure in the field of advanced materials and Lab-on-a-chip.
