Area of Interest : Biomicrofluidics, microchannels, droplet drying
Summary : In recent years, microfluidics has been playing a crucial role in the field of healthcare and disease diagnosis. My work focuses mainly on studying the morphological alterations of the red blood cells with various external factors. I am also trying to investigate the variations in the drying patterns of healthy and diseased blood samples for an easy and fast diagnosis of several diseases. The main objective of my work is to explore the intricate alliance between microfluidics, fundamental physics and biology which can eventually lead to a noteworthy contribution in the healthcare sector.
