Area of Interest : Interfacial phenomena, Electrowetting, Soft Wetting
Summary : My current research focuses on the spreading dynamics of sessile liquid droplet under the imposed electric field. This dynamics of the droplet spreading is governed by the different forces such as capillary force, surface force, and electrostatic force. My research work further includes the soft wetting phenomena. In soft wetting, I am exploring the physics involved behind the elasto-capillary interaction of a sessile droplet placed on a flexible surface under the influence of applied electrical potential.
