Area of Interest : Interfacial phenomena, microfluidics
Summary : My current research focuses on the mask-less and stamps-less facile fabrication of the microstructured surfaces and their realization in various microfluidic applications. Furthermore, now-a-days most of the lab-on-a-chip devices involve EWOD set-up; however, it is limited by either dielectric breakdown or higher demand of voltages. Thus, the main objective is to overcome the existing gap in EWOD and provide a cost effective low power consuming Digital Microfluidic platform. In addition, the investigation of interfacial phenomenon involves contact angle measurement, different wetting states etc. thus the present work carries immense potential for microfluidic applications.
