Second Grade

"Mrs.Washburn suggests this as a great book that students can read on their own. It's a beginning level book, but the message is meaningful. This book offers beautiful illustrations showing that everyone belongs!"

I love cows and these books are so fun to read!

Lost in Bermooda, and others in the series

The Freddie Ramos series has action and humor, and can be found at the public library! Go read it!

High second grade through 5th grade

I love the Molly American Girl books because they are a fun way to learn about history and there are lots of them. They are great for boys and girls! I've read them to every class I've taught for the past 19 years!

Shredder man is a fantastic series that shows everyone has something to offer and that people can change

I love The Wild Robot and my students do too! I read the first story to my 2nd graders and by the end of the year they are able to read the others on their own. It tells the story of a lone robot who finds a home and friendship in the wlld by working together with the animals around her. The movie is coming out in September, so it's the perfect book to read this summer before visiting the theatres when it premieres. Enjoy!
