From car dealership to design firm, Priority Design has transformed their space into a place they consider:
Modular, Flexible, & Intimate
Key Features:
Dropped ceilings and wood panelling are used to create a sense of intimacy, and are used throughout gathering spaces.
Even outside conference rooms, a sliver of dropped ceiling helps funnel people into those rooms.
Pops of orange on corners and alcoves to break up longer hallways, creating horizontal sight lines within vertical spaces
Lighting is key, professionals were hired to properly install lights that wouldn't cause unwanted glare
Key Guiding Principles:
Think about where design is going in the next 10-15 years.
Make use of what's in the space but also rethink it.
Future use (of space)
Material longevity
Designers are going to be messy.
Based on these elements, we define Priority Design as a place of TRANSITION.
Transition in terms of visually guiding people between more intimate gathering areas and larger work spaces.
Transition in terms of continuing to expand their practice but leaving no one behind.
