Welcome. This webpage contains information and templates specific to the 7th grade. Before proceeding, please make sure to 1) read the Introduction webpage, and 2) scan through the entire Resources to familiarize yourself with both the available information and any tools stored under those webpages.
Room Parents of each class within the grade level must work together to determine their classes' budgets. Why? Because if a Class Activity Fee is to be collected from parents, then the administration requires that the Class Activity Fee be the same amount/student throughout the entire grade level. A budget template is available for your use. It is stored in the 7th Grade Google Drive folder.
In January, 7th and 8th grades typically make a pilgrimage to both the diocesan youth rally and then on to the March for Life. It is a day of prayer and advocacy for the sanctity of life.
A celebration of the sanctity of human life. Room Parents assist the Religion teacher in hosting a baby shower. The 7th grade students bring in new gift items to be donated to a local pregnancy center.
The 7th grade staffs a bake sale at the Annual Student vs. Alumni & Faculty basketball game. Proceeds support the scholarship fund that was set up in memory of long-time STS teacher Mrs. Barbara Mertens.
7th grade typically makes a trip to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania with the Social Studies teacher during the spring.
It is a tradition for the 7th grade parents to provide the behind-the-scenes labor at the 8th grade's Parent‑Teacher Appreciation Dinner. The 8th grade Room Parents and students plan the actual banquet. But since the 8th grade parents, faculty, staff, and students all attend the banquet, they need the volunteer support of non-graduating families to manage the actual serving and cleanup during the evening of the banquet.
