Stewart Knots are inspired by mathematician B. M. Stewart and his book Adventures Among the Toroids, where he introduced the first examples of knots with polyhedral components similar to those depicted here. As with many of these structures, Kepler's studies on polygons resurface time and again, and these knots are no exception.
