Roelofs polyknots are inspired by the work of mathematical artist Rinus Roelofs. Like the Escher polyknots, they feature multiple knots, each corresponding to the number of vertices of the base polyhedron. The type of knot is determined by the vertex configuration of the base polyhedron, much like in Escher polyknots. Below are the 5 Roelofs-Platonic polyknots.
