We appreciate how challenging this is. None of us want mega pylons. But together we've brought SSEN to the table with a clear mandate from the Highland Council to discuss alternative options. It's a start.
Our preferred options remain undersea or use of existing corridors.

SSEN consultation report
SSEN published their consultation response report on Friday 1 December
Critically, the 113 page report includes a 'Summary of Decisions' that outlines the options SSEN intend to progress (D1 and D1.3).
We issued a press release, held a TV interview with STV and radio interview with BBC Highlands.
