Abbey Incense

The Liturgical Incense we make here at the abbey is handmade and of a very high quality.

Three fragrances are available:

Benedictus: A blend of frankincense and myrrh with Sandalwood, Bergamot and other oils. A light and refreshing fragrance.

Scholastica: A blend of frankincense and myrrh, with rose, lavender and other oils. A sweet, rich fragrance.

Southern Cross: A blend of frankincense and myrrh with cloves, rosemary and other oils. A strong and delightful fragrance.

Available in 450 gm boxes or 40 gm sachets.

Quick lighting Charcoal is also available.

Icons

Each icon print is mounted and varnished by hand at the Abbey. A large selection of traditional and some modern icons are available. Sizes range from 'postcard' to approximately A3. Prices begin from $11.00 (+P&P).

Books

A select quantity of books and booklets are available: The Rule of St Benedict; Booklets on prayer, Christian and Monastic Life; and a few books for children. Many of the books are written by Benedictines.

Crosses / Crucifixes

A selection of carved, painted, and metal crosses/crucifixes are available. Some are for specific occasions such as weddings and confirmation. Some are specially designed for children.

Cards

A wide variety of cards are available. Some are designed and printed here at the Abbey, others are sourced from communities in Europe and the USA. Cards are available for almost any occasion and as aids for prayer and devotion.

Notepaper

Packs of 20 x A5 notepaper, with various small illustrations in the corner. Supplied with envelopes.

Photocards

Folded cards on 200gsm media with photographs of the garden, church, and abbey surrounds. Set up and printed here.

Lavender Bags

A perennial favourite, made here at the abbey with our own lavender.

Ordering

At this time we do not have an online catalogue or 'shop'. If you know what you want we can pack and send it. For parishes, an invoice will be sent with order. For individuals, we will email the invoice for your order then post your goods immediately on receipt of your payment. Payment is by cheque, money order or direct debit. (No credit/debit card facility).
