2-STEM Curriculum Design Workshop (29/9/2026-3/10/2025) Denizli/TÜRKİYE
The STEM Curriculum Design Workshop was successfully implemented in Denizli, Türkiye, between 29 September and 3 October 2025. Its main objective—to develop a framework for STEM lesson plans integrating language learning while promoting sustainability, inclusivity, and multilingualism—was fully achieved through the active participation and guidance of experts from Pamukkale University (Prof. Dr. Turan Paker), Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University (Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tuğba Yüksel), and Veertjesplein (Dr. Feyza Altınkamış). Throughout the five-day programme, participants attended institutional welcome sessions and project presentations hosted by the Denizli Provincial Directorate of National Education, took part in expert-led workshops on STEM education and language learning for children, and conducted classroom observations in a STEM-oriented kindergarten. Collaborative working sessions enabled project partners to design and develop the STEMLinguia lesson plans, integrating STEM learning with multilingual pedagogies. The workshop concluded with feedback, reflection, and evaluation sessions, followed by a certificate ceremony. The activity significantly contributed to the development of the project’s educational framework and strengthened cooperation among partners in preparation for the next phases of implementation.
