Our public events are a great opportunity to introduce your kids to STEM through a fun experience with high school mentors and guest speakers. Due to COVID, we mostly held online events the past two years, but our hope is that we can do a combination of online and in person for the next school year.

Each event is typically around an hour long!

All of the kids at the event will be split into breakout rooms. They will rotate through 3-4 stations, each consisting of a different experiment/lesson. Throughout the experiments, the mentors will ask thought-provoking questions and provide explanations of what is happening.

For an online lesson, you will be given a list of materials ahead of time that you will need to purchase yourself. For in-person lessons, STEMentors will provide the materials free of cost.
