Rachel is part of the Class of 2026 at Lafayette College, studying Neuroscience with a minor in Biotechnology.
Rachel co-founded the Newton STEMentors program in 2019. When it comes to science, Physics and Neuroscience interest her the most. Rachel loves spending time with kids, and throughout high school, she assistant taught kids at her synagogue’s religious school and dance studio. She volunteered at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, the Arthritis Foundation, and Gateways: Access to Jewish Education. She loves playing musical instruments and dancing! A fun fact about Rachel is that she danced at her studio for 16 years!

Peter is part of the Class of 2026 at the University of California San Diego, studying Marine Biology.
Peter co-founded the Newton STEMentors program in 2019. He has always been very interested in science. More specifically, Marine Biology and Climate Sciences are most interesting to him. Peter played hockey for 8 years and played for Newton North's team for 4 years. Peter was a vice president of his Sophomore, Junior, and Senior class, and he was a member of Dover Legacy Scholars at Newton North. A fun fact about Peter is that his grandfather ran for president in 1988.
