Dr Ramkailash Gujar has been a Clinical Scientist at the Dr Shroff Charity Eye Hospital, Delhi (SCEH) Stell Cell Department since January 2023. Before joining at SCEH, he worked at the Casey Eye Institute, Oregon Health and Science University, Portland, USA. He earned his graduation degree of Bachelor of Optometry from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AlIMS) in New Delhi, India. He also did a clinical fellowship in optometry (retina, glaucoma, and low vision) at the L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPE1), Hyderabad, India. He completed his doctorate in Translational Medicine and Surgery (Ophthalmology) from the University of Perugia, Italy, in February 2022. Dr. Ramkailash has worked as a research optometrist at LVPEI, Hyderabad. His research interests focus on artificial intelligence, optical coherence tomography angiography, and other ophthalmic imaging modalities in corneal diseases.
