Each and every clinical placement I have attended wether positive or negative has clinically challenged me and shifted my understanding and perspectives for the better. There were always opportunities for me to attend in-service activities and clinical simulations to advance my understanding and further develop my clinical reasoning and judgment skills.

I can confidently state that all encountered experiences throughout my nursing journey have lead to my personal growth and development, allowing me to be the best nurse I can be to those in my care. I hope to continue to grow and develop as I take on my full time role with Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health in the upcoming year of 2020. To continue my professional education, I hope for many educational and career development opportunities and support from the Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health network.
