Stage a Story

Creative drama workshops (for preschools, libraries, etc.) vary in content but most follow the same general format.  The workshop begins with warm-up exercises to help the participants focus and prepare to act. Then, the participants take part in acting exercises pertaining to the theme of the workshop. For workshops that center around a storybook, we read the book and the participants create a prop, costume piece, or set piece to help tell the story. The workshop culminates in the participants acting out the story.

Details:

Length: 45-60 minutes (can be shortened for younger participants and lengthened for older participants)

Fee: $100/program up to 60 minutes + $0.70/mile traveled from Plainsboro, NJ

Ages: Infant - Teen (maximum 4 year age range)

Number of Participants: Minimum of 6 and maximum of 20
