Las Vegas' Breakneck Gear joins the battle by making masks

Stacey Tokunaga is well aware how difficult things are now with the world struggling mightily to keep its head above water amid a global pandemic the likes of which humanity has not experienced in nearly over a century.

According to Stacey, despite facing a crisis like this, many people and organizations step up to give humanity hope amidst all the despair. One such organization is Las Vegas' very own Breakneck Gear.

Breakneck Gear is a small business from Las Vegas, and just like most small businesses in the U.S., it has not been immune to the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The company, however, has found a way not just to stay afloat, but also to help in the battle against the dreaded coronavirus. It has decided to shift its production from sports apparel to face masks.

After quick online advertising, orders from all around Las Vegas started coming in. Today, Breakneck Gear is among the top mask producers in the area, manufacturing hundreds of cloth face masks with their signature designs daily. In fact, one order had come from the nearby Nellis Air Force Base. The order was for 7,000 masks.
