All parallel sessions and plenary talks will be held in the Ito International Research Center and the Institute of Social Science, located on the Hongo campus of the University of Tokyo.
Please note that the University of Tokyo has multiple campuses in Tokyo, including the Hongo and Komaba campuses. The conference will be held exclusively on the Hongo campus, so we kindly ask participants to ensure they go to the correct location.
The Hongo campus of the University of Tokyo is easily accessible by several Tokyo Metro lines. The conference venues — the Ito International Research Center and the Institute of Social Science — are within walking distance of the following stations:
Hongo-sanchome Station (Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line / Toei Oedo Line)
– About 8–10 minutes on foot to the Venue.
– Spots 1 and 2 on the map.
Todai-mae Station (Tokyo Metro Namboku Line)
– About 9–11 minutes on foot.
– Spot 3 on the map.
To help you navigate, please refer to our custom map showing the venue and nearby stations:
We recommend checking the map in advance and allowing extra time during peak hours. Most stations have English signage to assist international visitors.
A campus map of the University of Tokyo (Hongo Campus) is available below.
The main conference venue is the Ito International Research Center, which is marked as Building 29 on the campus map.
The conference headquarters and registration desk are located in the B2F Foyer of Building 29. Participants are kindly requested to visit the registration desk upon arrival.
Please note that the historic Akamon Gate is currently closed for renovation and cannot be used to enter the campus. Participants arriving from Hongo-sanchome Station are advised to use the gate located immediately before reaching Akamon Gate. Alternatively, the Main Gate may also be used to enter the campus.
