The 18th Meeting of the Society for Social Choice and Welfare is hosted by the Institute of Social Science (ISS), The University of Tokyo. Established in 1946, ISS is one of Japan’s leading interdisciplinary social science research institutes, bringing together scholars in law, political science, economics, and sociology to conduct empirical and comparative research on contemporary social issues from international and historical perspectives. Located on the Hongo Campus of The University of Tokyo, ISS serves as an important center for collaborative social science research in Japan.
