· Was there any information that was unexpected?
While all of the information was insightful, the salaries and job entailments of some occupations surprised me. I recognized critical thinking as a motif among each interview which was unexpected from Mr. Snell and Mrs. Rachal given that they are not in a direct line of law or journalism.
· Was there any information that you expected?
I expected the salaries to all range within the information that was discovered however I also learned that these salaries are a cumulative product of years prior.
· What was it like talking with these organizations?
Speaking with these organizations helped build my comfortability within cross-age networking. It is easy to speak with someone within your same age bracket however I feel as if this process created corporate intimacy with these individuals, making it more enjoyable and personable.
· Why did you select the three you chose? What was/were the most important factors for each of the three?
I selected these three individuals due to bias and legit reasoning. My biases were built off of them being Black women, two of which attended Spelman and upheld my same major. The career and occupational paths of these women suit my scope of opportunity and pursuit for the future as well.
· Has your career direction changed after considering all of the criteria?
This research has not changed my direction, but it has encouraged me to keep going and be mor intentional about my study now because every experience can contribute to a portion of my future.
· Looking at your Top Three criteria, why are they so important to you?
The criteria embodied by my top three included educational experience, current occupation, salary, and I also asked them more personal questions about their experiences within the interview. All of these factors contributed to the significance and legitimacy of my decision in choosing them.
