· Did you have prior experience with using a web authoring application?
Yes! I became familiar with Google Sites through several of our previous project this semester like our All About Me and Recipe Algorithm sites.
· Did you find the website design application easy or difficult? Why?
I did not find any difficulty with creating my site however I learned a few new things:
1) A footer applies to all pages so make sure that placement on correct!
2) Fonts can change the entire appearance of a pages making it more or less appealing so don't be Miss Do Too Much or Miss Bare Minimum, find a happy medium that is attractive and simple. Less is more!
· What would you do different with your Web site if you had another chance?
I would try to figure out how to make a more animated transition by including slides that move throughout site navigation. I feel as if I could've made the site more advanced because this is my third and final project with Google sites.
· Who did you have test or critique your web site? Who was the reviewer(s) and why did you choose that person(s)?
I chose my roommate to review my work. She is taking Computer Science 105 in the Fall so I wanted her to be able to shadow me during the composition of my project while getting a chance to see the finished product as well.
