Ms. Allison
Spending time in nature and playing/listening to music are activities that help me cope with stress and help me keep calm and feel better. I also use writing as an outlet to express my feelings; whatever those feelings may be on any given day.
Below you will find recorded videos of nature and Allison playing her steel drum . Headphones recommended.
Ms. Jeanna
Taking breaks outside and photo journaling is a way I lift my spirits. It helps me get curious, stay open and relax my mental, emotional and physical health.
Below you will find nature photos and a video from Jeanna!
Ms. Jessica
There are a few things that help me when I need to relax. Being outside, with fresh air and sunlight, makes me feel good. When that's not possible, I try to open a window. I also just stop. Whatever it is that I'm doing I stop, I'll stretch if I need to, but I'll close my eyes and just breathe for 5 to 10 minutes if possible. I'll set a timer.

One of the things that I find helpful, especially during stressful situations, is to focus on the good things that grace my life. Visuals like this beautiful Spring weather and the baby birds nesting outside my kitchen window and most always, various friends and family members are on my list. I note this daily in my journal, so when I’m feeling wonky, I reflect upon the many blessings in my life. Before eating a meal, we participate in a family tradition where everyone at the table shares one thing that they appreciate about their day. This reinforces “an attitude of gratide.” I’ve noticed that this daily habit has shifted my perspective toward focusing upon the positive.
