Hi I’m Peera! I'm a 3rd year double major in astrophysics and math with applied science, and this year's SPS president (former ARMS chair). I work in a high energy physics lab on campus and do particle physics research at Fermilab during the summer. I'm passionate about science advocacy, equity in education, and global humanitarian efforts. My goal this year is to help build a stronger sense of community within the UCSD physics department through outreach and collaborative events.

Hi! My name is Ashna. I am a third year (soon to be senior) from ERC, and this is my third year in the media team. I have a minor in Engineering Physics purely for the bit of making people guess my minor and saying both my major and minor have the word "physics" in it. Other than trying to out nerd the people around me, I like reading books, building legos, and hiking! 

Hi everyone! I'm Stephen, a BS physics/astrophysics major with an interest in understanding the role of dark matter in galaxy formation and how it shapes the large-scale structure of the universe. I also play basketball and produce various forms of music. I look forward to participating in the SPS Media Team!

Hi y’all, my name is Aidan and I’m a second year undergraduate. My physics interests revolve primarily around electromagnetism and applied electromagnetics. Outside of physics, my hobbies include watching movies and playing video games with hours worth of lore I can dive into.

Hi, I’m Quinn, new member of the ARMS team! I’m part of the first cohort of Astronomy & Astrophysics as a major, with an additional interest in several other subjects. I really love space and sci-fi/fantasy, but I also try to stay down to earth with art, activism, and baking. My goal in SPS is to help make physics (and STEM as a whole) more welcoming. There’s a lot of media and hobbies out there that I like, and I LOVE to talk, so I’m always happy to chat!
