We are ACGME accredited and have Osteopathic recognition by the ACGME,
We accept a class of 10 new residents each year and strive to balance taking 5 MDs and 5 DOs each year
We have two clinical sites. One in the rural town of Mason, MI and one near the state capitol in Lansing, MI. Residents are given their choice of preferred clinical site during their intern year and are then assigned a patient panel in that clinic.
We have an Obstetrics Track for residents who are interested in pregnancy care and would like more experience during their three years.
We have associated fellowships in Sports Medicine and Palliative Care.
We are an integrated care setting which offers inter-professional collaboration with behavioral health and pharmacy professionals to provide holistic care to our family medicine patients.

The strongest consideration and preference will be given to applicants who have
graduated from medical school within the last 5 years and/or had meaningful continuous clinical experience in the 5 years prior to applying to our program
no fails or only one fail on Steps 1, 2 or 3
and scores as below
Step 2 USMLE >= 225, Step 2 COMLEX >= 430
We require 3 letters of recommendation
Consistent with our Mission Statement to train physicians who can practice both locally and across the nation, we interview applicants that have graduated from medical schools approved for licensure in all fifty states.

Interviews are held from October into January each year.
All candidates will meet with our Program Director or Associate Program Director as well as a variety of attendings and current residents in the program.
