Meet your Wildcat Counselors!

On behalf of the Wildcat Student Services' team, we would like to personally welcome you to South Miami Middle Community School and introduce you to our comprehensive counseling program. As counselors, we strive to meet the developmental needs of our students on a variety of levels designated by the American School Counselor Association National Model (ASCA). These levels include support for students on an academic, social/emotional, and career/college development based on comprehensive school data. In order to fundamentally help our students, we provide a variety of services including individual counseling, group counseling, and curricular lessons that are performed in the classroom. Our program is a collaborative effort between the counselors, teachers, administrators, parents, and local community.
