Mission Statement

The mission of the Student Services Department at South Miami Middle Community School is to provide a proactive, culturally aware, and developmentally appropriate comprehensive program that addresses students’ academic goals, college/career goals, and socio-emotional growth in a nurturing and safe environment. This is accomplished through a partnership with parents/guardians, school staff, and community members to enable all students to become compassionate, responsible, and knowledgeable citizens who are well-equipped to reach their highest standard of success.
