My name is [insert your name here] and I am a voter in rural Deschutes County, Oregon. My congressman is Cliff Bentz and he refuses to do a townhall with his constituents here. Our area, like others, has been immediately impacted by some of the latest budget-slashing items in Washington including our La Pine Community Health Center losing 10% of its staff, Oregon's foster program (CASA) losing a huge chunk of their funding, and many of our forest service members losing their jobs which not only is a huge blow to our employment rates in rural Oregon but also a safety hazard as fire season in Oregon is incredibly dangerous and without forest workers, our homes and environment are at huge risk. Many of us in rural Oregon feel unheard by our local, state, and national government and Cliff Bentz refusing to come to a town hall is just another indication of this. I am writing to request Governor Tim Walz to come to rural Deschutes County to come support our constituents who are scared and angry.

I’m calling out of extreme frustration with Senate Democrats. They have complied with unanimous consent requests over 400 times since inauguration. I oppose this and I'm asking the Senator to begin objecting to unanimous consent in every single instance until DOGE is disbanded and Elon Musk is gone.

Senate Dems must use the same tool Republicans did to kill our legislative initiatives: It is simple, effective, and may be the only way to slow this administration's catastrophically destructive program. I am counting on the Senator to use every tool at his/her disposal to put the brakes on the ongoing destruction by Trump and Musk. Use your Power. Withhold Unanimous Consent.
