This sample work comes from my HESA 503: U.S. College Students course. For this assignment, we were instructed to write a scholarly literature review addressing an issue facing current U.S. college students. I chose to focus my literature review on first-generation college students, the financial and other barriers they face in higher education, and recommendations of ways we as practitioners can best support them.
