This sample comes from the HESA 590 course, Minority Serving Institutions: Educating and Serving Racially Marginalized Students. For this final project, I chose to write an op-ed on Native American students experience in higher education while providing recommendations to better support them in a system that has historically marginalized them. I wrote this piece using the submission guidelines from Inside Higher Ed.
