This sample work comes from HESA 522: College Student Development Theory. The purpose of this paper was to design a programmatic intervention to address an issue in higher education/student affairs grounded in relevant student development theory. My group paper uses Baxter Magolda's (2008) Self-Authorship Theory to examine students' journey to self-authorship regarding their rights to free speech, activism, and resistance on college campuses.
