The Meridian Edict is oriented around exploration and cultural research & the safekeeping and preservation of relics and endangered cultures alike - as well as making Azeroth as a whole a better place for everyone!
There are many ways how the one could achieve that goal - from fighting against the threats of Azeroth & its cultures, to researching and catalouging them, to crafting goods which would be helpful to people of Azeroth - and a lot more!
Below, you could find out more about the ranks in the Edict - and what kind of responsibilities come with each of them. This doesn't mean in any way that your character would be limited in either of rank's "duties" - an artisan could join expeditions, as well as expedition member ranks could craft and sell their goods! Moreover, you'd be encouraged in doing so!
More than just a guild of adventurers, the Edict is a found family that tackles dangerous foes, faces difficult mysteries, and rely on eachother to overcome all.

We are glad you asked!
Joining the Edict takes some time - in the interest of making sure that the Edict playstyle and culture is something which fits you & your character - and make sure that you &your character would make a good addition to the group!
Good "chemistry" and "vibes" between our members is the most important thing for us - and the only way to see how it works for sure is to meet each other a few times!
In our experience, there are a few questions which arise very often when we talk to potential new members. In order to save time for everyone, I greatly recommend you to read Frequently Asked Questions page - so we can proceed with more interesting things if all is good & clear to you!
Likewise, you can find more information about the guild in our Forum Thread, as well as our Argent Archives. I suggest you to read them as well - to make sure that this is what you and your character is interested in!
(My elite dracthyr team will DESTROY anyone who asks a question that's on the FAQ)
If you have read the F.A.Q (and everything else about the guild) and you like it & are still interested - you would need to contact one of our officers.
We would like to learn more about you and your character OOC - and keep communication easier for further steps!

Directly in-game (Argent Dawn EU Realm) at:
Horde - Ksar, Wiks, Dharrach, Kevissa, Kreshmar, Starcane, Rhaenelya, Korrei, Fenji, Sabei, Isthareth.
Alliance - Daerron, Takado, Nynoliel, Rhaethas, Worgdorei, Upyr, Malykan.
You can use any of the methods listed above - but I -personally- would suggest to use Discord, as it is the most convenient & easy way!
We also have a Discord server for our members, where all the important announcements happen, so you would need to join it! Blizzard chat & guild system, sadly, simply isn't good enough compared to Discord.
As mentioned above, we like meeting new people to learn about them better before official interview, to make sure our characters get along well and if our RP styles mesh well!
The Solstice Bazaar opening hours are generally a good time to meet our characters - feel free to approach us if you see us in a hub! You can check the rumours placed here for more ideas how to do it.
If you see us elsewhere in the world, I suggest you to whisper one of us to check if it is possible to approach us at this moment. For example, sometimes we use zone as a "placeholder" for another place - or we are simply in a middle of combat or at heavily guarded area.
This is also why we needed you to add one of us in Discord or BattleNet - if we know that you are interested in the guild and have an easy way to reach you, we'll poke you when we gather for RP at a place where your character could bump into us!
This isn't an invitation to IC interview - and your character will not get one -even- if one of Caravan Council characters is around and you ask them for that!
At this stage we are interested in seeing how your character interacts with our other characters and if they are a good match! This will likely take a few of such meetings - and I suggest you & your character to be patient!
If everything goes well and you & your character look like a good addition to the guild - it is time for a IC interview!
During the interview your character will be asked why they want to join the Edict and what they would like to do for it, together with a few questions about them themselves - and whatever other questions may arise!
You will be told when it happens & we will find a time when it is good for -everyone- to meet for that!
