My Involvement
During the fall semester of 2022, I was invited to serve on the board of directors for the non-profit organization Lathisms. The general goal of the organization is to provide platform that showcases the multifaceted and diverse nature of the Latinx and Hispanic mathematics community and inspires the younger generation of Latinx mathematicians.
During the fall semester of 2022, I was invited to serve on the board of directors for the non-profit organization Lathisms. The general goal of the organization is to provide platform that showcases the multifaceted and diverse nature of the Latinx and Hispanic mathematics community and inspires the younger generation of Latinx mathematicians.
As of right now, I, with the rest of the board, make decisions on how the organization should move forward in executing it mission. Most noteworthy, I am currently serving as a co-prime investigator on a Tensor SUMMA Grant which hopes to provide honorarium for the Café con Leche speakers.
