"An LED Fiber Optic Whip is an advanced flow toy created by attaching multiple strands of fiber optic cabling to an LED powerhouse. The colorful light emitted from the powerhouse then travels to the end of each fiber strand to create a bright point of light. Fiber Optics Whips are commonly used for dancing at raves, EDM festivals, flow arts, and stage performances. " - glofx.com
Fiber Optic Whips is where I got started with Flow Arts. It is both an exceptionally fun prop to incorporate, and very humbling.
GloFX is a trusted flow prop site that offers a variety of flow props. I have purchased three whips and a replacement header from them personally.
They offer the sparkle fiber which looks stunning. I have also purchased their double connector essentially giving me a maul whip.

Fiberflies is also a trusted maker for whips.
While they do not offer the sparkle fiber like GloFX they do offer a mega header which means a thicker whip. I also found that Fiberflies whips are much longer than GloFX.
A few things that we must go over with whipping is SAFETY. Fiber optics while they look pretty CAN cut your eyes and skin. It is important that you wear proper eye safety glasses while flowing. While the standard glasses are not cute you can find cute ones on amazon or other retailers online!
It is important to note that safety glasses differ from regular glasses due to the full protection on the top and side of your glasses.
Lubrication is needed in order to have the whip glide over your body and to not tangle. GloFX sells their flow grease which is a VERY small bottle. I recommend any SILICONE based PERSONAL lubricant. It's much cheaper, and will last you much longer.
With whip flow you are doing a lot of body wrapping. Meaning the whip is gliding over your body. Generally speaking having your body clothed makes body wrapping easier. Which means when you're not whipping and you start sweating you will become sticky making whipping much harder to work and flow with.
