"Dai Zaobab (real name Dai Murata), a well-known Japanese entertainer, first coined the term "buugeng" after seeing "Moschen in Motion" in 2001, then taking and adapting Moschen's s-shaped staffs into the prop we know today. The name derives from "buu" (Martial Arts) and "geng" (Illusion) in Japanese." - rionfish.com
"The Eight Ring prop was first created and crafted in 2009 by Renegade Juggling. It is meant to be used as an isolation prop and is not intended for toss juggling or normal ring juggling."- renegadejuggling.com
These are two of my newest props, and both were purchased at [Creator Fire Shop]
The Buugeng are some of the smallest I've seen and very light. The 8 Rings like the Buugeng are also made of wood with a very pretty iridescent film on them.
The best place I have found to learn Buugeng is with [Zaobab]! I'm still in the process of learning and am VERY NEW!
Unfortunately, 8 rings does NOT have a lot of information about learning. I did however find this guide, and it does have some great information. It's harder for me to learn personally in this form, from only a visual sense, and I need a more audible sense personally to learn. [Dmitrijs Pudovs]
