"Fan spinning or fan manipulation is prevalent among many different dance styles such as belly dance or contemporary dance. The easiest way to combine the fans with any dance form even without technical knowledge is to control the movements as if the fans are just an extension of your arms. Usually, one fan is held in each hand to dance with or manipulate it by using principles of other flow arts props and moves unique to fan spinning." - Lighttoys.cz
Spin fans are another newer prop for me. For the longest time I only had my metal fans which weren't able to be seen on stream, and honestly they would leave my hands bruised some. I'm currently in the process of trying to learn more with these!
These spin fans are quite large and are wooden. They are GORGEOUS with and without a UV light. They come custom colored to your desired options. Mine are pictured with me holding them above. These were purchased from [Creator Fire Shop]
These metal fans were my first pair of spin fans due to the affordability of them. While they are great in their construction they are VERY difficult for my viewers to see on screen due to their thin size. I remedied this by add silk fan covers purchased from [LunarWear]. The fans themselves were purchased from [DEFWORKS]
I love these fans! The only negative though it maybe a positive to some is that it requires a AAA battery at each end. They are light weight and you can customize a color option with the directions included. You can find these fans here [Threeworlds]
Jessy Spin was the first Fan spinning tutorial I discovered. She's very easy to understand and also offers classes. To date (August 2021) I have only watched her Youtube videos.
Another Fan spinning YouTube I have recently discovered who goes through a variety of techniques.
