Did you know that animals can be put into groups. The group they are put in depends on the animals similarities and differences. The more similarities the animals have, then the more likely they will be put into the same group.
Mammals
lives on land or in the ocean
have fur
has live babies that drink milk
Examples of mammals: humans, dingoes, dolphin, cats, dogs
Reptiles
born on land
have scaly skin
have cold blood

Examples of reptiles: lizards, snakes, crocodiles, turtles
Amphibians

can live in water or on land

they experience metamorphisis (their body type changes as they grow)
