Slough Schools' Football Association Tournament News
The Slough Schools' FA hosts the Primary U11 competition District Round of English Schools' FA Pokemon National Cup which is a football competition for year 5 & 6 school children. The ESFA National Cup is the largest international football competition for school children, involving over 2.5 million children from 32 countries.
In England, Pokémon have partnered with the English Schools’ Football Association to run the ESFA National Cup with children under the age of 11. Every year around 3,000 primary schools compete in the U11 national tournaments which culminate with the Pokémon National Cup England Final.
The format of the competition enables the winners of each round to progress to the next round;
Winners of the District Round will represent Slough Schools' FA at the Berkshire Schools County Finals.
Winners of the County Round go on to represent Berkshire at the South West Regional Finals.
Winners and runner up of the Regional finals qualify for the National Finals which have been held at Championship or Premiership football club stadiums.

Congratulations to the winning school Dedworth (Mixed) and Dedworth (Girls) will represent Slough Schools' FA in the Berkshire Schools' FA County Finals held at Cantley Park in January 2025.
Congratulations to the Dedworth (Mixed Team) who went on to reach the National Finals which were held at Stoke City FC. The team were excellent ambassadors for the association, reaching the semi-finals and finishing the 4th best school team in the country.
