U11 girls DISTRICT TEAM

The Slough Schools’ Football Association formed an Girls District Team for the first time in its history in the season 2021/22 which gave the opportunity for girls district football to flourish in our area.

In the summer of 2021 trials took place at Bishopsgate School and the squad was assembled. 

The Slough Schools' FA U11 Girls Team played for the first time in the Southern Counties League Cup. The girls team went on to play in the Surrey SFA Inter-Association League and enjoy a number of friendly games against other district teams.

In the 2022/23 season the girls team trials took place at Dedworth Middle School and the new squad was selected. This team will play full time week in week out in the Southern Counties League and Cup competitions as well as the Surrey League and ESFA National Cup. 

The SSFA U11 Girls District Team is formed with Years 5 & 6 children which attend schools in the Slough SFA district and compromise the best football players in their schools. The team incorporate "The future game' philosophy into its ethos and is an elite team in which the best players are chosen to represent the squad and the team.
