I have the great pleasure of announcing that Slough Schools FA U11 District Team have made it through to the English Schools' FA Danone Nations Cup - National Finals.
On Saturday 30th March Slough Schools' FA represented Berkshire as County winners (see link below) at the Southwest of England Regional Finals. The team progressed through the finals to make history once again and become the first Slough District to reach the National Finals.
They will join another SW England District and two other Districts from each region, SE England, Midlands and the North compromising 8 Districts in total to compete in the National Finals.
The National Finals will be held at a Premiership or Championship Football Stadium in May or June which will be a once in a lifetime opportunity for the team.
The National Finals Winners will go onto represent England in Barcelona in the Nations Cup which is the stuff as dreams are made on .

Many thanks to parents for their tireless efforts in transporting children to and from training and matches. Thank you to Slough Borough Council Get Active group for the amazing kit, equipment and training facilities. Thanks to Dedworth school for the use of their 3G pitch to play our friendly matches.
