The Russians offer a lot of variety for different playstyles, but they are very powerful in the hands of an aggressive player who can utilize their many explosive (ex. Satchel Charges) and sacrificial (ex. Ram) abilities to make huge tactical plays on the battlefield.

Like the Russians, the Eastern Front German Army offers a lot of flexibility. While being more expensive, they are individually better equipped and can better hold a defensive stance until they can deploy their heavier armor to overwhelm their enemy.

At the core of the American army is their strong infantry and tactical flexibility. This allows them to press quickly or dig in almost anywhere as needed. However, their armor is far more specialized for specific roles and must be used accordingly to be effective.

Among the Allies, the British generally present the strongest defense. They get strong infantry and vehicles at some cost to flexibility and mobility. They have a variety of defensive structures, but smart players know to be conservative as they are vulnerable to artillery.

The West German Army is inflexible and expensive to reinforce, but it enjoys some very unique and high quality units. Still, one must be careful as they are largely reliant on their stationary structures for support which makes them vulnerable to artillery and flanking.
