Battletech

BattleTech is an epic wargaming and military science fiction franchise with an expansive story that stretches from the late 20th century to the mid-32nd. It details humanity's technological, social and political development and how they spread through space both in broad historical terms as well as through accounts of the lives of individuals who experienced and shaped that history. At the center of this narrative is the mighty BattleMech, a class of war machine unlike any other. With the mobility, armor, and firepower to destroy almost anything in their path, these walking behemoths redefine both society and modern warfare as we know it. As a MechWarrior, you will take command of these tools of war, but will you do so for wealth, honor, or glory?

The purpose of this project is to expand the vanilla experience beyond a solitary tactical experience. This will be achieved in a variety of ways:

• Create a TRUE large-scale cooperative experience.

• Persistence: upgrades and abilites that can be gained over time.

• Immersion: more decisions and interactions between players.

• Added 4x strategy elements: explore, expand, exploit, exterminate.

• Savedata exchange: coordinate with allies in various ways.
